What is the Brother Care Program?

It’s a FREE membership program where customers can sign up to gain access to benefits like extended warranties, exclusive offers and free shipping on brother.ca orders.
Which products are eligible for the extended warranty?

Brother Laser and Inkjet Printers and Multifunction Centre machines are eligible. Find a complete list of all eligible Brother Care Program products here.
How can I sign up to the Brother Care Program?
Signing up is quick and easy. Here are some simple ways to join today:

• Register a product and sign up to the program.

Already have an account? Go to the preferences section and opt in to receive emails from Brother.
How can I get the extended warranty for eligible product(s) I’ve already purchased?

Simply register your eligible product(s) online. If you don’t already have an account, you’ll be asked to create one and then be prompted to sign up to the Brother Care Program.

If your machine is out of warranty, it is no longer eligible for an extended warranty. You are, however, able to sign up for the Brother Care Program so you can enjoy the other benefits offered by the program, such as exclusive offers and free shipping.
What does the extended warranty cover?

The extended warranty offered in the Brother Care Program is an extension of Brother’s standard manufacturer’s product warranty that accompanies each new product. See the reference chart above for the extended warranty time periods offered in each level of the program.

Do I need to sign up more than once?

Signup to the Brother Care Program is required only one time. Once signed up, you will be eligible to enjoy the benefits of the program. To obtain the extended warranty benefit, you must register the eligible product on brother.ca. Eligible products must still be in warranty at the time of registration to receive the extended warranty benefit.

In order to take advantage of the Free Brother Care Program benefits which include your extended warranty and free shipping, you must stay opted in to exclusive offers and the general promotions email program to receive email communications from Brother. By opting out of receiving emails from Brother, your product will no longer be eligible for the extended warranty and other benefits of the program.
Can I transfer my warranty from another product?

The Brother Care Program is only applicable to your registered Brother product. You can’t transfer your warranty to another product.
Is free standard shipping applicable to all Canadian provinces?

Free standard shipping is applicable to Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.

Free standard shipping is not applicable to NT, NV and YT.
Can I opt out of receiving emails at any time?

Cancelling your enrollment in the FREE Brother Care user program can be done at any time by opting out of the exclusive offers and general promotions email program.

In order to take advantage the FREE Brother Care Program benefits which include your extended warranty and free shipping, you must stay opted in to the exclusive offers and general promotions email program to receive email communications from Brother. By opting out of receiving emails from Brother, your product will no longer be eligible for the extended warranty.
